Cheryl Ann Curtis April 28, 2024

Cheryl Ann Curtis, age 71, of Auburn passed away on September 5, 2023. She was born in Chicago, IL to Charles Curtis and Pauline Boduch (nee Salemi) in 1952.

She was the beloved mother of Dana Crane and Benjamin “Ben” Crane and grandma to Cheyenne, Ella and Rylynn. She also leaves behind her stepfather Thaddeus “Ted” Boduch, her half-brothers Mike and Steve and her daughter in law Jess Craig Crane.

She was a hard-working professional through the years in the health care industry. She spent most of her career as an optician, then assisting in laser eye surgeries and finally as a scheduler for a health care providers.

A perfect down day for her would be spent in comfy pjs while reading a book (romance or sci fi), playing computer games, or crocheting. She wasn’t a “sports” person but would enthusiastically support her children’s passions for them.

She was active with the Driftwood Players in Edmonds for many years, where she and her daughter often helped building sets and on the tech side of shows. She even ventured on stage as Milky White in the production of Into the Woods.

In her later years, she truly enjoyed going on cruises and visiting casinos with her dear friend, Pat Gunnarson.

A memorial will be planned later to allow her family to all be in the area.

She also had a love of animals so with that in mind, in lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the Auburn Valley Humane Society. https://www.auburnvalleyhs.org/
