Benjamin Michael Simmons of Snohomish passed away suddenly in Arlington, WA on Tuesday morning June 29, 2021. He was born January 20, 1980 at Providence Hospital in Everett Washington. Benjamin was the son of Melvin Simmons of Snohomish and Barbara Sturtz of Arlington.
He is survived by his parents as well as his brothers Joseph (Monique), Curtiss, Brian (Teresa), Sean (Charity), Gabriel and his sisters Christine, Jessica (Anthony), and Ann (Travis) Nuss. He also leaves behind his very best friend Matt Emery as well as his cherished nieces and nephews.
Benjamin was known for his extremely keen and intelligent mind, his unique sense of humor, and his love of research. Far exceeding these things however, he was best known for his love of family and his passion for the Lord. Everyone received a huge bear hug at hello and an even stronger hug every time he said goodbye.. There was nothing he loved better than a deep conversation or a good book.
A celebration of life is planned for 2:00 PM Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Chapel of the Resurrection, 16300 112th Ave. NE, Bothell, WA. There will be a private burial at the GAR Cemetery in Snohomish. In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations made to the Everett Gospel Mission.
