Christopher Allen Eckman of Arlington Wa passed away at Providence Hospital on July 10, 2023 after battling heart disease for several years.Chris was born on July 3, 1958 to Myrna and Edward Eckman in Everett Wa.
Chris graduated from Arlington High school in 1977. After High school he went on to be a Carpenter for Cobra Construction. He wanted to be his own boss so he became a self-employed employed Carpenter. Being his own boss gave him freedom to do what he loved most and that was to be a Sportsman. Chris loved hunting, fishing, being with friends and time with his grandkids. Chris is going to be deeply missed by so many people.
Chris was predeceased by his mother Myrna Allen, his sister Anita Hass and brother Edward Eckman. He is survived by his father Edward H Eckman, Sister Lynn Hass (Venson), daughter Jamie Hedlund, daughter Michelle Marriott (Joel) several grandchildren and Niece and Nephews.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

July 22, 2023 at 4:00 amBuddy I am going to miss making you laugh til you would say stop it hurts. I wish I had one more time to see you, but I know I wouldn’t want it to end. You were the kindest, big hearted guy who deserved so many more years. To your daughters and grandbabies Chris glowed when he showed off pictures of you, and proud that he got to be you dad would be an understatement. I wish you knew the impact you had on me and I hope the angels know how lucky there are. Rest easy🕊️.

Always checking in. It’s going to be hard to get use to not having a sibling left to talk about growing up. Please bare with me while I process all of this. Please share your stories. RIP brother❤️
