Danny and I graduated from North High in 1964 and worked at the Pancake House in Salinas for a couple of years before entering the service. Fast forward many years later and we reconnect after my family moved up to the Puget Sound
area. Joanne and I would host Big D for dinner in Tacoma once or twice a year. He would always bring a bottle of top quality spirits. Good food was ingested and much laughter ensued every time he visited. We were shocked to learn of his passing. Dan
was a “good dude” and someone who
I know would be there for me if I ever
needed him. Joanne and I already miss him.
