Terry Goettler November 26, 1951 - June 24, 2023

Terry John Goettler passed away peacefully on June 24th at the Providence Hospital in Everett, WA. Hewas born November 26th, 1951 to George and Daune Goettler in Iron Mountain Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Margaret, his Daughters Nicole Goettler and Aja Goettler , his son Erik Goettler(Tiffany), his grandchildren Koren Goettler, Westley Goettler, Eden Goettler, Irie Goettler, and Otto Goettler, who all live locally. His brother George Goettler (Alice), his sister Kathleen Campos, His Sister Teresa Diercks (Mark), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Terry graduated from Kingsford Michigan High school in 1969 and attended Ferris State University. He joined the Navy in 1971 and served as an Avionics Technician for 8 years. While in the Military he continued his education and graduated with an Associated Degree from the University of Washington in 1979. After the military, Terry and his family moved to Everett Washington in 1980. While there he worked at and retired from Boeing. In 1986 he was honored as The Employee of the Year.

He met his wife Margaret in June of 1975 and married her a year later. For 47 years, they had a life of love and happiness, raising 3 children together. Terry enjoyed camping, fishing, taking road trips with his family, days at the lake with family and friends, reading, and football. He had said that one of his proudest moments was when his touch football team won the championship. He was very passionate about the Seahawks and politics, But, his favorite activities always involved his grandchildren. He loved watching them grow and listening to their laughter. They made him smile everyday.

He will be forever in our hearts!

Terry will be graveside service with Military honors on July 13th at the Marysville Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be held on July 13th at 2:00 at Our home. Please think about a special memory of or with Terry that you would like to share.

    TERRY WAS ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS,HE TRULY CARED ABOUT PEOPLE AND LOVED HIS FAMILY. RIP TERRY YOULL ALWAYS BE INOUR HEARTS.
