Eric Amrine passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2022 at his home in Lake Stevens. He was only 50. His family is shocked and devastated by his choice to end his life. He was born in Seattle but grew up in Sultan, WA surrounded by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Eric graduated from Sultan High in 1989 and from Western Washington University in 1994. Eric loved to write, try new foods, go to movies, read books, listen to music, and spend time with his daughters.
He was a wonderful compassionate man that suffered from depression and by choosing to end his suffering left his family with a void that can never be filled. Eric will be forever missed by his two beautiful daughters Jackie from Seattle and Sophia from Bothell, his father Greg of Lake Stevens, mother Elois in Port Hadlock and his brother Marc and wife Stacy of Black Diamond. He will also be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial for Eric will be held on August 28 th 2022 at 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the home of Brian and Linda Ramberg located at 3020 89th Drive Southeast, Lake Stevens, Washington 98258. Please come and share your memories of Eric.

August 19, 2022 at 6:52 pmI didn’t get the opportunity to know Eric for very long. We had only worked together for about 6mo. He would finish his route and sit at the desk next to me. We would chat away while sharing the donuts he picked up after his deliveries. He had an infectious laugh and you could hear him whistling through the building. The other day a customer was walking out the door and started to whistle and in the back of my mind i thought “Eric!” I actually got out of my chair to see who it was. I might always think of Erik when I hear that sound. I think maybe he was saying goodbye.

August 19, 2022 at 2:34 pmEric was such a fun, nice guy with an awesome laugh and smile! Most days when I was on lunch, he would come in to get a drink from the refrigerator and we would chat for a few minutes. I always enjoyed it and I will miss him!
I will be keeping his family in friends in my prayers during this difficult time.
