Catherine Louise Peterson passed on Friday July 22, 2022 in Arlington, Washington after battling health issues.
Cathy was born to George and Mary Behler of Ravenna, Michigan February 8, 1953, and graduated from Kent City High in 1971.
Cathy leaves behind her beloved husband of 40 years, Norman Alan Peterson, and their 3 children: Mary Andersen (Mike), Wendy Peterson (Brandon Ketchum), David Peterson (Dana Morgan) as well as 2 step children, Jessicca Peterson and Norman Peterson II (Cindy); as well as 11 grandchildren, one on the way and 2 great grandchildren.
Cathy was a stay-at-home mom during the kid’s school years, and assisted Norm with the family plumbing business. She also worked as a cosmetologist in Michigan before moving to Washingotn. Once in Washington she worked as a flagger/laborer, and after raising her children she worked various customer service positions including Trafton General Store and ForeverWed.
She loved spoiling her cherished grandchildren. Cathy was a friend to all, caring more for others than herself. She will be greatly missed by her family and countless friends.
The family asks that you hug your family and walk in nature for a moment, an hour or a day. Time waits for no one.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Aug 28th from 1pm-5pm. at 20713 Lake Riley Rd, Arlington.
