Shirley Anne Williams was born August 24th 1934, and passed on January 26th 2019 at age 84. Shirley was married to the love of her life Mel for 68 beautiful years, and together they raised 4 children. She was a wonderful mother and devoted wife, but was known for so much more. One of Shirley’s biggest achievements was working for Eldec, and being a part of the external tank team for the Martin Marietta 1978 Space Shuttle.
In her later years, Shirley loved being a homemaker, and was popular for her talents in the kitchen. No matter what was going on, Shirley always had dinner on the table for her family every night by 6:00 pm. In addition to cooking, Shirley loved reading and teaching herself new things, such as how to repair electronics.
Shirley is survived by her husband Mel Williams; daughters Kathy Uhl, Sandy Miller, and son Paul Williams. Shirley is preceded in death by her son Melvin Williams, brother Howard Osburn, and her parents Dilford and Lucille Osburn. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
