Stacia Hornbacher February 27, 1963 - July 23, 2022

Stacia Jo Hornbacher, 59, passed away on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022. She was born on February 27th, 1963 in Hastings, Nebraska. Stacia lived in many different places around the country including Grand Island Nebraska, Georgia, Washington DC, New Hampshire, Arizona and California. Stacia landed in beautiful Snohomish, Washington in the early 90s where she lived until her passing. Stacia was a nurse and administrator, dedicating her career to the state of Washington after graduating from the University of Washington School of nursing in 1994.  She was a Captain in the United States Air Force reserves from 2003-2011, serving her country proudly.  She loved the beach and the ocean, taking up SCUBA diving at the age of 58. Stacia enjoyed traveling and loved spending time in Hawaii. Some of Stacia’s favorite hobbies were walking/hiking, reading, spending time with her “grand-puppy”, and baking for her family.  She is survived by her greatest love in life, her son, Francis Hornbacher and his wife, Sydney Gilbert. She is also survived by her parents, Josephine and Robert Britton and Thomas Hornbacher, and her sister and brother, Anna and Thomas Hornbacher. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, September 17th from 12:30-3:00 at the Madison Hill Chapel in Monroe, Washington. Stacia was a devoted mother to her son and her kind, warm, and loving spirit lives on in our hearts and in our lives.

    Please accept my heart felt condolences on behalf of the HCS Management team. Stacia was a great person who always had a smile on her face. She is missed.
