Yvonne Cherie (Lounsbury) Tukana, passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on October 10, 2023.
Yvonne was born September 4, 1948, in Everett, Washington to James H. & Sarah J. (Lewis) Lounsbury. Yvonne graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 1966. She worked for WA State Department of Social and Health Services until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling and working on genealogy. She cared deeply for her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She is proceeded in death by her parents James H. and Sarah J. (Lewis) Lounsbury. Brother-in-law Hozie L Miller.
She leaves behind her husband Jone Tukana. Daughter Shawnell (Chad) Deeks. Grandchildren Seta (Nicole) Raisuni. Sierra, Colton and Hailee Schwab. Great-grandchildren Luella and Rowen. Sister Michele Lounsbury. Brother James M. Lounsbury. Stepdaughters Amelia (Tevita), Margaret (Tudrau), Sue, Vuli (Peni), and Saivou. Step-grandchildren Emalini, Yvonne, Dimai, Samuel, Rosemia, Isaac, Isaiah, William and Salome.
No service will be held. She will be laid to rest in Darrington, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center.

You always let me know I had a mama who cared about me, who believed in me, who was there for me no matter what. I love you and will miss you mom.
